Abu Dhabi: Initiating the concluding phase of his two-nation tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in discussions with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Muhammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday.
Upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi, PM Modi received a warm welcome from Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at the airport.
Expressing his appreciation for the gracious reception in the Gulf nation, PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote, “Grateful to Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for welcoming me at the airport today.” A ceremonial welcome was extended to PM Modi upon his arrival at Abu Dhabi airport.
During his second visit to the UAE as Prime Minister, PM Modi held high-level talks with Mohammed Bin Zayed at the Royal Palace on the previous evening. His first visit to the UAE as Prime Minister took place in August 2015.
Notably, just prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) highlighted that its economic partnership with India “marks a significant milestone in the history of both nations.”
