New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals today during the Rozgar Mela. The event will be conducted at 44 locations nationwide, with recruitment taking place in central government departments, state governments, and Union Territories, all in support of this initiative, as stated by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Through a video conferencing session scheduled for July 22 at 10:30 a.m., Prime Minister Modi will personally hand out the appointment letters to the newly inducted recruits. He will also address the appointees during the event.
These fresh recruits, selected from various regions across the country, will be joining the government in several ministries and departments, including the Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Department of Water Resources, Department of Personnel and Training, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Rozgar Mela represents a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritise employment generation. It is expected to serve as a catalyst for further employment opportunities and empower the youth to actively participate in the nation’s development, according to the official statement.
