New Delhi: The Supreme Court has rejected Pinarayi Government’s request to move the writ pleas on Sabarimala issues from High Court. State Government had asked to move the pleas from High Court to the top court. The pleas were considered by the bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi.
Supreme Court also denied to interfere in Government’s plea against appointing the three member observers’ panel. Chief Justice told that as the decision was made by the High Court, SC cannot intervene. Supreme Court also added that Government can approach the High Court in this regard if necessary.
