New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a meeting with members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Wednesday, emphasised the importance of effectively disseminating information about the various welfare schemes introduced by the central government. He specifically highlighted the need to ensure that these schemes reach the common people in states not governed by the BJP, even without relying extensively on state machinery.
PM Modi underscored, “Our focus should be on extending the full benefits of central government schemes directly to the public in states where the BJP is not in power.” He urged NDA MPs to concentrate their efforts on devising innovative initiatives that establish a strong rapport with the citizens in non-BJP states such as Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The Prime Minister also encouraged the MPs to actively participate in public celebrations of religious festivals and to maintain a united front. Additionally, he advised them to be well-prepared for the upcoming 2024 elections, according to a reliable source.

On Monday, PM Modi convened meetings with NDA MPs from West Uttar Pradesh, Bundelkhand, and the Braj region, as part of the BJP’s preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. During these interactions, he emphasised the importance of MPs fostering close connections with the public, actively promoting government schemes, maintaining a grounded approach, and prioritising initiatives that create a tangible impact at the grassroots level. The Prime Minister urged the MPs to strategize programmes aligned with upcoming festivals to enhance their outreach and establish direct connections with the people.
