India Post announces 30,041 vacancies; application deadline on August 23

NEW DELHI: The Indian Postal Circle has announced job vacancies for the roles of Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM), and Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications.

The application submission deadline is August 23rd, while applicants can make corrections to their forms from August 24th to 26th.

The current total of vacancies stands at 30,041 positions.

As for the educational requirements, candidates must have successfully completed their 10th standard secondary school examination, with passing grades in both Mathematics and English. The examination should be from a board recognized by either the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territories.

Furthermore, candidates seeking GDS positions within recognized categories should have studied their regional language up to at least the secondary standard.

For those appointed as Gramin Dak Sevak for the position of Branch Postmaster (BPM), the monthly salary ranges from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 29,380.
