New Delhi: Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Union Minister of State for IT, levelled serious accusations against Rahul Gandhi, asserting that the latter had entered into a covert Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China. These claims surfaced against the backdrop of Rahul Gandhi’s recent statements on the India-China matter during his visit to Ladakh.
Chandrasekhar highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s statements on China, revealing alleged details about the secret MoU he purportedly signed with China. The Union Minister also claimed that Rahul Gandhi has been engaged in clandestine meetings with Chinese diplomats and ventured to offer guidance on how India should navigate its relations with China.
In contrast, Chandrasekhar underscored the Narendra Modi government’s commitment to the nation’s interests. He mentioned that the Congress party, in the past, had not made significant efforts towards border infrastructure development due to apprehensions from China. Conversely, the present government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stood firm, safeguarding every inch of Indian territory along the border. Chandrasekhar affirmed that the current administration remains resolute and unwilling to compromise on national interests.
