The 69th National Film Awards results were unveiled on Thursday evening in New Delhi, and the accolades brought recognition to remarkable talents in the industry. Allu Arjun, who captivated audiences with his portrayal of Pushpa Raj, secured the Best Actor award for the blockbuster hit “Pushpa: The Rise.” Additionally, Sukumar clinched the Best Director award, while Devi Sri Prasad was honored with the Best Music Director accolade for their contributions to the same film.
The title of Best Actress was jointly bestowed upon Alia Bhatt for her outstanding performance in “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and Kriti Sanon for her role in “Mimi.”
Vishnu Mohan, the director of the Malayalam film “Meppadiyan,” was honored with the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Director, underscoring his promising talent and fresh perspective.
