Meerut: A shocking and disturbing incident has come to light involving a father’s sinister plot to seek revenge against his estranged wife. Sanjeev Kumar, a native of Meerut, killed his own son by hiring a contract killer. The victim, 27-year-old Sachin Kumar, was tragically killed.
The incident took place in Chhoor village, in the Sardhana district of Meerut. The father allegedly paid a sum of 5 lakh rupees to a hired killer named Amit, tasking him with the murder of his own son. Amit, a 30-year-old individual, heartlessly carried out the execution, ending Sachin’s life in a merciless manner.
Sachin had been missing since Tuesday, a matter that came to the attention of police after his mother lodged a complaint on Saturday. In her report, Sachin’s mother expressed suspicions about her husband’s involvement in their son’s disappearance. The Sardhana police initiated an investigation into the matter.
During the course of the investigation, Sanjeev Kumar was summoned and subjected to questioning. He eventually confessed to the brutal crime, seemingly devoid of remorse. The origins of the animosity trace back 15 years, when Sanjeev Kumar’s wife separated from him due to his extramarital relationship with her sister, leading her to relocate along with Sachin.
Sachin Kumar, employed as a delivery boy and the primary breadwinner of the family, had been living with his mother since the separation. Both the accused, Amit and Sanjeev Kumar, are now in police custody as the investigation continues.
