New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan by joining schoolgirls in Delhi on Wednesday, where they lovingly tied Rakhis on his wrist.

Welcomed with radiant smiles, PM Modi entered the classroom where he received the customised rakhis from the girls. The act was accompanied by warm interactions as Prime Minister Modi engaged the girls in friendly conversations, asking about their names and classes. Notably, the rakhis were uniquely designed, featuring an image of Prime Minister Modi himself. A special moment was captured as Prime Minister Modi graciously posed for a group photograph alongside the schoolgirls and their teachers, capturing the essence of the occasion.

Prior to this engagement, Prime Minister Modi extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation, describing Raksha Bandhan as a celebration of unbreakable trust. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he shared his wishes, “Happy Rakshabandhan to all my family members. This auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan, dedicated to the unbreakable trust and immense love between sister and brother, is a sacred reflection of our culture. I wish this festival deepens the feeling of affection, harmony, and harmony in everyone’s life.”
