New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the significance of the strategic alliance between India and Saudi Arabia in promoting regional and global stability and prosperity during his discussions with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on Monday.
Projecting Saudi Arabia as one of the most important strategic partner for the nation, Modi highlighted that both nations are actively enhancing their relationship to align with evolving circumstances. At their inaugural meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council, Modi and Bin Salman conducted a comprehensive review of their bilateral ties.
During his opening speech at the meeting, PM announced that numerous initiatives have been identified to elevate “our close partnership to the next level. Today’s meeting will infuse our relationship with fresh direction and vigor.”
Established in 2019, the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council was formed with the objective of enhancing cooperation in critical domains. Bin Salman is currently on a State visit to India following end of the G20 Summit.
The Saudi leader expressed that the announcements made during the summit will have a positive impact on the global stage. He said, “We will collaborate to create a bright future for both our nations.”
Saudi Arabia holds a pivotal role as one of India’s essential strategic partners in the Middle East. Over recent years, the overall relations between these two nations have seen substantial growth. Both sides have been placing considerable emphasis on fortifying their defense and security partnership.
