Prime Minister Narendra Modi files nomination in Varanasi

Varanasi: Varanasi, the temple town from where Narendra Modi won the 2014 general elections,has witnessed PM filing nomination papers seeking second term in office. Prime Minister has filed nomination after addressing a gathering of BJP workers and visiting Kal Bhairav temple.

BJP national President Amit Shah, Union ministers Nithin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Paneershelvam, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Shiv Sena Chief Uddav Thackaray,Lok Sabha Deouty Speaker and AIADMK leader Thambidurai, SAD Chief Prakash Singh Badal, Lok Janshakti Party President Ram Vilas Paswan and other senior leaders were present while Modi filed his nomination.

Last day, Varanasi’s streets were crowded with people to take part in the massive road show.Prime Minister also performed Ganga Aarti.
