Karunanidhi can rest in Marina,says high court

Chennai: After row over the burial place to Kalainjar, Madras high court allowed site along Marina beach.High court had received a total of six pleas against allotting burial space for politicians along Marina beach.The dilemma over the issue ended after the pleas were withdrawn and the court ordered in favour of DMK . The ruling AIADMK had rejected permission for Karunanidhi’s burial at Marina earlier. Karunanidhi,who headed the party over sixty years died at the age of 94 on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other leaders have reached Chennai to pay their respects.
