London: A court in London has extended the custody of fugitive businessman Nirav Modi’s till 27 July. He has been on the run from India for a fraud case to the tune of US $ 2 billion from Punjab National Bank.
The 48-year-old diamond merchant is kept at Wandsworth prison in south-west London since his third attempt at seeking bail was rejected by Chief Magistrate Emma Arbuthnot at the last hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
