New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the United Nations’ World Climate Action Summit (COP28) in Dubai, according to official sources. His two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), commencing on Thursday, is in response to an invitation extended by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Prime Minister Modi is expected to return on Friday evening.
Apart from engaging in discussions related to climate action, reports suggest that the Prime Minister will also hold talks with Arab leaders regarding the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. This marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sixth visit to the UAE in the last eight years since assuming office. His last official visit to the UAE took place in July.
