HYDERABAD: Union Minister and BJP Telangana state President G Kishan Reddy expressed appreciation for the BJP’s performance in the Telangana assembly elections. Kishan Reddy highlighted that this time, the BJP has doubled its vote share compared to the previous election and has increased its victories from one assembly seat to eight seats. He added that this outcome reflects the people’s trust in the BJP.
Kishan Reddy stated that this victory, with the party’s vote share rising from 6.10 percent to over 14 percent, signals a significant breakthrough for the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Additionally, Kishan Reddy congratulated BJP candidate K Venkata Ramana Reddy, who secured a win in the Kamareddy assembly constituency by defeating Telangana Chief Minister and BRS President K Chandrashekar Rao.
Chandrasekhara Rao contested from two Assembly seats, Kamareddy and Gajwel, winning only from the Gajwel constituency.
Revanth Reddy, the president of the Telangana Congress party, secured the third position in the Kamareddy constituency. He, too, contested in two constituencies. Venkata Ramana Reddy’s victory over these two prominent candidates was highly praised by Kishan Reddy as a testament to the people’s trust in the BJP.
