New Delhi: The BJP Parliamentary Party meeting of the BJP has appointed J. P. Nadda as the National Working President of the party. The appointment of J. P. Nadda follows Amit Shah’s induction as the Home Minister in the Modi’s cabinet. As the work load of Amit Shah has increased manifold the working president will be assisting him in the affairs of the party.
The appointment of J. P. Nadda as Working President was announced by Rajnath Singh. While announcing the decision of the Parliamentary Party meeting he said, ” BJP won several elections under the leadership of Amit Shah Ji. But since PM appointed him Home Minister, Amit Shah Ji himself said the responsibility of party president should be given to someone else. BJP Parliamentary board has selected JP Nadda as working president.”
Rajnath Singh also added that during the meeting Amit Shah said that he was unable to give enough time to the party as he was also in charge of the Home Ministry and asked that the Party President position be given to some other person.
