Thiruvananthapuram: Christian missionaries are cheating people of other religions, in their conversion tactics, by copying Hindu symbols and temples.
The conversion lobbies build churches in the form of ancient Hindu temples and one cannot find any differences in the first look. These types of construction have been made in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Such constructions can be seen in the border areas and coastal regions of Kerala too.Traditional oil lamps, as seen in Hindu temples, even ‘Kedavilakku’, the lamp that lights whole days and nights, are placed here. The flag post and carved idols are parts of these Christian conversion centres.
All these imitations of Hindu symbols and rituals are not for representing the richness of our great Indian culture, but to create ample space and facilities in disguise for conversion from other religions. The lobbies even conduct ‘Thulabharam’ and ‘Ezhuthiniruthu’ in these churches to attract non Christians for the sake of religious conversion.
