HYDERABAD: Telangana’s former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and MLC (Member of State Legislative Council), K Kavitha, expressed that the Ram temple in Ayodhya is a dream come true for Hindu believers worldwide. Kavitha, a member of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), shared this sentiment on social media platform ‘X’, formerly known as ‘Twitter’.
Amidst ongoing preparations to inaugurate the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kavitha remarked on Sunday that the temple’s inauguration is a cherished dream for millions of Hindus.

In her post in Telugu, she conveyed her eager anticipation for the celebration of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Additionally, she shared a video showcasing the under-construction Ram Temple alongside the post.
Previously, BRS had made pro-Muslim remarks before the recent Assembly elections. Chandrasekhar Rao had announced that if BRS came to power, they would establish exclusive Information Technology (IT) parks for Muslims, a statement that stirred controversy at the time.
BRS had also indirectly aligned with Asaduddin Owaisi’s All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party for Islamic vote banking support. However, in the Assembly elections, the BRS party suffered a significant defeat.
In light of this, several political analysts suggested that Kavitha’s post about the Ayodhya temple indicates the party’s acknowledgment of its past mistakes during the election. Next to Chandrasekhar Rao, his daughter Kavitha holds considerable influence within BRS. Consequently, political analysts also speculated that Kavitha’s response hints at the BRS party’s stance for the upcoming 2024 Parliament elections.
Reportedly, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has planned to place the Ram idol at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple between noon and 12:45 pm on January 22, 2024.
