New Delhi: After a resounding victory in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has put an end to the suspense by announcing Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new Chief Minister of the desert state. The decision was finalized during a meeting held at the party’s state headquarters, attended by BJP central observer Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with co-observers national vice president Saroj Pandey and national general secretary Vinod Tawde.
The announcement comes nine days after the party’s decisive triumph in Rajasthan during the recent elections. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Union ministers Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Ashwini Vaishnaw were initially considered front-runners for the coveted position. However, as the day progressed, names such as Kailash Chaudhary, Diya Kumari, and Anita Bhadel also emerged as contenders for the chief minister’s postition.
