New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda announced the party’s intention to assign additional responsibilities to senior leaders, including former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. This statement came in response to queries about the appointment of Dr. Mohan Yadav as Chief Minister instead of Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Madhya Pradesh.
Addressing the issue, Nadda acknowledged the significant contributions of leaders such as Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, and Raman Singh to the party. He reassured that suitable titles corresponding to their roles would be conferred in the future. Nadda emphasised the inclusive approach of the BJP, highlighting that every party worker possesses certain rights. He said that the focus of the party is to utilise its members for the benefit of the organisation.
Dismissing rumours of dissatisfaction with former chief ministers, Nadda underscored the party’s commitment to providing positions based on individual activities and contributions. He affirmed that every member of the BJP will be accorded a position in alignment with their dedication and service to the party.
