New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi has still not learned any lessons from the utter defeat his party got in the recent Lok Sabha elections. He still is doing what he is good at – insulting whatever that is a source of pride for India.
Today, on Yoga Day, when the world is honoring the ancient Indian practice of Yoga, the Congress President tweeted a picture of the Army Dog Squad with the dogs posing in yogic positions with their trainers. What hurt the Indian sentiments more is that he captioned his picture ‘New India’.
However, the Twitter world has took offence to Rahul Gandhi’s effort at a ‘joke’ at the expense of India’s pride. Many tweeter users send photos of people across the world doing Yoga as a reply to the insulting picture of Rahul Gandhi.
BJP MP from Bengaluru said in a tweet, “Ok. He still hasn’t learnt his lessons. In one go, he has insulted our Army, brave Jawans, the incredible dog unit, Yoga tradition & our country. I feel really sad for all the young Congress workers (if there are any left) that they have to deal with this man as their leader.”
Only yesterday the Gandhi scion was spotted browsing his mobile phone during a speech by the President of India to the joint session of Parliament. His continues gaffes and insults towards Indian culture has exposed his immaturity in leading the grand old party.
Though, Rahul Gandhi has offered his resignation after the electoral debacle, the party senior leaders have been requesting him to continue in fear that without a Gandhi at the top the party will disintegrate quickly.
Interestingly, Rahul Gandhi has not taken any responsibility for the utter defeat of the Congress party. He blamed many senior leaders for not cooperating with him and accused them for the failure. Meanwhile, his sister Priyanka Gandhi was seen rebuking common party workers in Uttar Pradesh for not putting a good effort for the party that had not real base in the State.
