Srinagar: In the wake of intense snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, the Army conducted a rescue operation in Gulmarg. The Indian Army rescued approximately 60 stranded tourists, including women and children. They were stuck in Gulmarg due to continuous snowfall.
Last Saturday, heavy snowfall in Gulmarg resulted in tourists being stranded there. The roadways became inaccessible due to the extreme snowfall. The Army intervened immediately and executed a rescue mission despite the challenging conditions caused by the snowfall.
Today, the Army reported the evacuation of 61 tourists from the affected region. Officials also stated that the people living in the area are in a lot of trouble due to the heavy snowfall.
