NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the attendees arriving in Ayodhya for the grant Prana Pratishtha (Consecration) ceremony set to take place on January 22, 2024.
The Prime Minister’s address will be held at ‘Singh Dwar,’ the main entrance gate to the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Additionally, he will perform the ceremony of opening the temple gates for the devotees.
Meanwhile, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust entrusted with the construction and management of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, is scheduled to hold a meeting today.
According to sources, the discussions will centre on the idol of Lord Ram, which will be installed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple at the grand opening or consecration of the shrine on January 22.
Preparations for the consecration ceremony of the temple on January 22 will also be discussed in detail during the meeting, the sources added. There will be another meeting of the trust to select the idol of Ram Lalla.
According to reports from the temple trust, millions of devotees are expected to attend the long-awaited Prana Pratishtha ceremony.
The timing of the ceremony is set from 12:29:08 PM to 12:30:32 PM on January 22, lasting only 84 seconds. This event coincides with the sacred Sanjeevani Muhurtam.
Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri, a Vedic scholar from Kashi, designated the auspicious time for the Prana Pratishtha.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive at the temple city on December 30 to inaugurate the Ayodhya airport and the railway station.
