AYODHYA: In anticipation of the Prana Pratishtha (Consecration) ceremony at the Ram Lalla Temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ayodhya today (December 30) to inaugurate the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the PM upon his plane’s landing.
Reportedly, at around 12:15 pm today, Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. Earlier, at approximately 11:15 am, Modi will inaugurate the revamped Ayodhya railway station and flag off new Amrit Bharat trains and Vande Bharat trains, as informed by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Sources indicate that during his visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate several projects in Ayodhya, collectively worth Rs 15,000 crore. These projects encompass the airport, railway station, highway, a medical college, a solid waste treatment plant, and the doubling of a railway line. Additionally, four major roads are slated for inauguration as part of these initiatives.
In the midst of the inauguration ceremonies, the streets of Ayodhya resonated with devotional songs dedicated to Sri Rama. The revamped Ayodhya Dham railway station now boasts facilities resembling ‘airport-like’ terminals.
Large cutouts of Lord Rama adorn the railway station and various prominent locations in the city.
The Prana Pratishtha (Consecration) ceremony is scheduled from 12:29:08 pm to 12:30:32 pm on January 22, 2024.
