New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has said that the price of non-subsidized LPG cylinders will cost less by Rs. 100 from tomorrow onwards. Non subsidized cylinders will be available at Rs. 637 per cylinder from 1 July.
IOC said that prices were slashed in view of prices falling in the international market and a favourable dollar-rupee exchange rate.
The press release of IOC said, “Price of Non-Subsidised LPG in Delhi will decrease by Rs 100.50 per cylinder from 1st July. Upfront cash payment by consumer of domestic LPG will reduce by Rs 100.50 per cylinder.”
In addition, price of subsidised LPG will now come down to Rs 494.35 after the fresh rate revision.
The balance amount of Rs 142.65 for subsidised cylinders will now be borne by the central government. Following the move, the balance amount would be transferred to the customer’s bank account after purchase and delivery of a refill.
