Mumbai: In response to a bomb threat received through an anonymous message last night, Mumbai is under high alert. The city’s crime branch and bomb squad are investigating the threat, although no suspicious items have been discovered so far.
This marks the second bomb threat in Mumbai this week. Prior to this, an anonymous email was received by the Reserve Bank, threatening to detonate bombs at 11 locations in Mumbai if Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman did not resign. This led to an investigation that resulted in the arrest of three individuals from Vadodara.
