Srinagar: The anti-terrorist operation in Kulgam district, Jammu and Kashmir, has entered its second day, with security forces intensifying efforts in the Hadigam area of South Kashmir. Sources within the security forces suggest that two to three terrorists might be killed in the operation.
The encounter between security forces and terrorists started late on Wednesday night, unfolding in the Hadigam area of Kulgam district. The operation, currently underway, has seen the involvement of the police, Indian Army, and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
“Encounter has started at Hadigam area of Kulgam district. Kulgam Police, Indian Army, and CRPF are on the job. Further details shall follow,” said Jammu and Kashmir Police on “X.”
