New Delhi: The treachery of the Kashmiri Separatist leaders were out in the open when it was revealed by ‘Times Now’ that while the leaders incite violence in Jammu and Kashmir using young Kashmiris, these leaders send their own children abroad far from the insecurity at home.
As per reports by ‘Times Now’, which quoted from the documents of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), 21 children of 14 of the prominent leaders of the Separatist movement in Kashmir are studying in foreign countries.
The leaders include Hurriyat chief Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Dukhtaran-e-Millat founder Asiya Andrabi. The MHA documents show exactly how the leaders lead a high-end life while poor Kashmiris are pushed to violence and stone pelting by these leaders.
These young and poor Kashmiri youths who wage war on the streets against the Indian Army are wounded and even killed by security agencies. All the time the separatist leaders shield their own children from the violence of the state that they themselves create.
The leaders use funds funnelled to them from Pakistan and other countries to send their children to the safety of educational institutions in foreign countries thousands of kilometres from the battleground of Kashmir.
The MHA documents also show that 210 relatives of Kashmiri separatists live abroad and 112 children of these leaders study in foreign countries. The 21 pointed out in MHA are children of the most prominent Separatist leaders in Kashmir.
Recently, the Central government has taken a tough stand against Separatists leaders which the previous governments failed to do. The government had withdrawn the security cover given to these leaders who had always incited trouble against India by siding with Pakistan.
Incidentally, Geelan’s grandson is summoned by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for questioning in a terror financing case.
