Bengaluru: The BJP legislative party meet today decided to meet the Speaker of the house tomorrow. BJP leader B. S. Yeddyurappa said that he along with all the BJP MLAs of the lower house ask the Speaker to convey their protest over the delay of the Speaker to take a decision about the resignation of the Congress-JD(S) MLAs.

Yeddyurappa said that he will be accompanied by all the BJP MLAs to press their demand. If there is any discrepancies in the resignation letters of the MLAs, the BJP leader said that it must be looked into.

The BJP leader also declined to comment at the moment to a question if the Speaker is delaying to accept the resignation letters of the MLAs.

The BJP legislative party meet also decided to ask the Governor to intervene in the recent political crisis that has gripped Karnataka. The BJP leaders will meet the Governor tomorrow at 1 pm.

After the MLAs resigned from their posts, the strength of the Congress-JD(S) number of MLAs have come down to 103. Compared to them the BJP has 105 MLAs in the lower house. The Congress-JD(S) government hangs on the support from outside independent MLAs and one BSP MLA.

Meanwhile, the Congress leader K. C. Venugopal said that strict actions will be initiated against the Congress MLAs who extend their support to the BJP.

The Congress party, which could not hide their frustration over losing power in Karnataka, raised their voice in the Parliament demanding to discuss the Karnataka issue. The Rajya Sabha had to adjourn for today following the ruckus created by Congress.

The Congress MPs staged a walk out in Lok Sabha after being denied motion to discuss Karnataka. The Speaker denied their motion notice saying that they had raised the issue yesterday.
