Chandigarh: BJP leader and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has donated his ancestral home in Banyani, Rohtak district, for the establishment of an e-library for children. Today morning Manohar Lal Khattar visited his village.
Speaking to the media in Banyani, Manohar Lal Khattar announced that the house in the village where he spent his childhood with his parents is being donated to village authorities to set up an e-library. He expressed that the e-library will play a significant role in imparting knowledge to the children and youth of the village.
The Chief Minister also assessed the ongoing developmental works in the village.
Before arriving in Rohtak, the CM Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated an ‘e-bus’ service in Panipat, stating, “We are committed to developing better resources for a cleaner environment and providing comfortable travel facilities for the public. Today, by inaugurating the city bus service in Panipat, we have dedicated electric and air-conditioned buses to the people of Haryana. I personally enjoyed the bus journey, and passengers in these buses will benefit from comfortable travel with modern facilities.”
