Bengaluru: Fresh troubles mounted for the Congress-JD(S) coalition when one of the Congress MLAs went missing from the resort where he along with other legislatures were harbored by the coalition government.
The missing MLA is Sreemath Balasaheb Patil and he has been missing since 8 pm last night.
Search is going on for the missing MLA including airports. His absence was noticed when Chief Minister Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwar met with the MLAs last night to discuss about the crucial trust vote in the Assembly.
However, the Congress has denied that its MLA is missing and claimed that he went to have a medical checkup in a hospital.
The discussion for the trust vote will begin shortly. The chances for the Kumaraswamy led government to pass the floor test is slim. The Congress and the JD(S) is prepared to do anything to maintain power in the state and is determined to go any length to achieve it.
