Bengaluru: Karnataka assembly,which has been in turmoil for two weeks is hoping to reach a final point today. The speaker K R Ramesh Kumar has set a fresh deadline and asked the CM to prove the strength of his Government by 6 pm today. The discussions must wind up at 4 pm, he added.
The assembly was adjourned close to midnight and speaker gave a fresh deadline for trust vote.The speaker had also warned MLAs that they will be disqualified failing to appear before the speaker before 11am.
Meanwhile, pleas of the rebel MLAs on trust vote will be considered today.
