New Delhi: Microsoft founder Bill Gates praised Bharat’s achievements and its global engagement. He emphasized that Bharat is an ancient country with new ideas, and its greatest gift is its ability to innovate. Gates, who visited Bharat on February 27 to review the activities of the Gates Foundation, shared his words of praise for Bharat in his blog, ‘GatesNotes’.
Gates highlighted Bharat’s combination of innovation and heritage, praising its stance and digital development in global vaccine delivery. He lauded Bharat’s manufacturing of vaccines as its biggest achievement. Additionally, he emphasized digital payments and Aadhaar.
During his visit, Gates will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss how Bharat’s initiatives can be expanded globally. The discussions will include potential areas of collaboration between the Gates Foundation and Bharat to elevate Bharat’s various activities to the global stage.
