New Delhi: The Bharat brand, initiated by the Centre, continues to gain popularity across every corner of the nation. Following the success of Bharat Rice and Bharat Atta, the market is now set to welcome Bharat Dal. Reports indicate that masoor dal, priced at Rs 93.5, will hit the shelves next week.
Initially, sales will be facilitated through NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited), NCCF (National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India Limited), ration shops, and Kendriya Bhandar. The dal will be available in 1 kg packets during this initial phase.
