Srinagar: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir, hundreds of individuals have gathered outside the Bakshi stadium in Srinagar. This visit marks PM Modi’s first to Kashmir division since the abrogation of Article 370.
Stringent security measures have been enforced at Bakshi Stadium, the chosen venue for the rally, in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s arrival. BJP supporters, adorned in party colours and waving flags, welcomed their leader with chants of ‘Baar Baar Modi Sarkar’. Many locals, hopeful for announcements regarding a development package for the valley, arrived early in the morning to secure their spots at the venue.
This marks PM Modi’s second visit to Jammu and Kashmir in over two weeks, following his address at a rally in Jammu on February 20.
