New Delhi: On International Women’s Day, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) announced a scholarship programme for female students enrolled in BBA, BCA, and BMS programmes. This initiative aligns with AICTE’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in technical and management education across Bharat.
AICTE Chairman Prof. TG Sitharam, accompanied by Rohini Bhajibhakare, Private Secretary, made the announcement during the International Women’s Day celebrations at AICTE. The scheme entails providing financial aid worth Rs 7.5 crore annually to 3000 eligible female students.
The scholarship targets economically disadvantaged female students enrolled in AICTE-approved institutions, offering an annual grant of Rs 25,000 per student. Over a three-year period, AICTE will allocate Rs 7.5 crore annually to support female students pursuing BBA, BCA, and BMS courses from its approved institutions.
