Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the 6th Vande Bharat Express of the Western Railway tomorrow. The inauguration ceremony of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express, along with its extension from Ahmedabad-Jamnagar to Okha, will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 9 am via video conference, as announced by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway. Regular services for the newly inaugurated trains will commence on March 13.
The Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express will operate on all days except Sunday. The train No. 22962 will depart from Ahmedabad at 6:10 am and arrive at Mumbai Central at 11:35 am.
In the return journey, the train No. 22961 will depart from Mumbai Central at 3:55 pm and reach Ahmedabad at 9:25 pm. The train will make stops at Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali stations along its route. The train offers comfortable travel options, with AC chair cars and executive chair cars available for passengers.
