Thiruvananthapuram: The gold price experienced a historic surge as the precious metal reached an all-time high in Kerala. The price of one sovereign gold has increased by Rs. 800 today. With this, the current rate of one sovereign gold now stands at Rs 49,440; it marks the highest rate in the state’s history, witnessing a staggering increase of Rs. 3120 within just a month.
The price hike continues as the gold price rises by Rs 100 to reach Rs 6,180 per gram. Today’s market price of one gram of 18-carat gold is recorded at Rs 5,056.
Meanwhile, silver rates remain unchanged, with the market price of common silver holding steady at Rs 80 per gram. Hallmark Silver maintains its position at Rs. 103 in the current market.
