Thiruvananthapuram: Students who have returned from the battlefield in Ukraine have shown their support for Attingal NDA candidate V Muraleedharan by contributing the election deposit amount for his Lok Sabha election candidacy. The students, including Sai Shruthi and Sourav along with their parents, presented the deposit to V Muraleedharan at a ceremony held at the BJP state office on behalf of the student body.
Describing their return from Ukraine as a second birth, the students expressed their gratitude towards Muraleedharan for his support and courage during their challenging time. Muraleedharan, who served as a Union Minister of state under the Narendra Modi government, highlighted the satisfaction derived from successful rescue missions conducted during his tenure.
Reflecting on his involvement in operations like Operation Vande Bharat during the Covid time and the recent repatriation of Anchuthengu natives from Russia, Muraleedharan emphasized the pride of participating in such noble endeavors. He shared insights from the mission, which saw the safe evacuation of thousands of students, including 3,000 Malayalees, from the Ukraine battlefield.
Attributing the success of these missions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong leadership and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar’s support, Muraleedharan assured that under Modi’s guarantee, Indians in distress anywhere in the world would be brought back safely.
