Thiruvananthapuram: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has pointed out the development potential of the Thiruvananthapuram district. He stated that people would evaluate the activities of the Central Government over the past years, and highlighted the success of the Modi government in delivering development plans to the people of Kerala. He came to Kerala to extend his support for Union Minister and NDA candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar in the Thiruvananthapuram Constituency.
The Minister of External Affairs, S Jaishankar remarked that Kerala holds significant potential for development. He noted that Thiruvananthapuram, the state capital, requires further development and emphasized the importance of ensuring that the benefits of central government schemes reach the people directly. Reflecting on the country’s progress over the past decade, he expressed confidence that development in Trivandrum could also be achieved through Rajeev Chandrasekhar. Furthermore, he extended his support to Union Ministers and candidates Rajeev Chandrasekhar and V Muraleedharan.
Jaishankar mentioned that Bharat had previously been the 11th largest economy globally but has since risen to the 5th position. He noted that despite events such as the Corona pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war, Bharat, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, has maintained its status as the 5th largest economy. Additionally, he remarked that PM Modi has introduced several schemes for the country’s citizens, including PM Awas Yojana, Anna Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Jal Jeevan Mission. Jaishankar added that even other countries acknowledge Bharat’s initiatives.
Jaishankar stated that the central government is devising development plans for the next 25 years with a vision. He mentioned that the government has a clear understanding of the developments and changes needed in Bharat. Jaishankar added that the NDA candidates in each constituency would bolster the Prime Minister’s initiatives.
Jaishankar remarked that numerous individuals are traveling from Kerala to foreign countries. He highlighted the strength of Bharat’s relations with foreign nations. Jaishankar noted that the Prime Minister successfully repatriated those stranded on the war front and during the Corona pandemic. He further mentioned that individuals traveling from Bharat to foreign countries are now significantly safer.
S Jaishankar emphasized that the Narendra Modi government has provided equal treatment to expatriates and ordinary citizens, highlighting the opening of additional passport service centers by the central government. He reassured the public that the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections aim for the country’s development, with their impact expected to be reflect in Thiruvananthapuram as well.
