Thiruvananthapuram: The final voters’ list for the Lok Sabha elections in Kerala has been released. As per the final list, there are 2,77,49,159 voters in Kerala. Out of the total voters, 1,43,33,499 are women and 1,34,15293 are men voters. The voters’ list includes 367 transgender voters as well.
The list also includes 5,34,394 first-time voters in the age group of 18-19 years old, and 6,27,045 persons above 80 years of age.
There are 89,839 NRI voters in Kerala, with the highest number in Kozhikode district (35,793).
Among the districts, Malappuram district in Kerala has the highest number of voters, with 3,393,884 registered voters.
And of the 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in Kerala, the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency has the highest number of voters, with 1,483,055 voters.
Wayanad district has the least number of voters in Kerala, with 6,35,930 voters.
The 18th Lok Sabha elections for the country will be held in seven phases across 543 constituencies. The Lok Sabha elections in Kerala will be held on April 26. The election results will be declared on June 4th.
