Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather advisory indicating a likelihood of rain in four districts of Kerala today. According to the IMD, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Wayanad districts are expected to experience rainfall throughout the day.
In addition to the anticipated rain, IMD forecasts the possibility of summer rain persisting over the next four days across the state.
Furthermore, coastal regions of Kerala are urged to exercise caution as the IMD warns of elevated waves and a storm surge along the Kerala coast until 11:30 tonight. The black sea phenomenon could result in waves measuring between 0.5 to 1.4 metres high. Fishermen and coastal residents are particularly advised to take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
