Thiruvananthapuram: BJP senior leader PK Krishna Das stated that the Marxist party leadership is fostering violence in Kerala. Krishna Das made these remarks while addressing the media in Thiruvananthapuram regarding the yesterday’s incident where a bomb exploded during its making in Panoor, Kannur district.
Krishna Das emphasized that the incident in Panoor indicates the CPI(M)’s involvement in perpetuating violence in Kerala. Krishna Das further asserted that the CPI(M) is attempting to disrupt the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Kerala. He claimed that CPI(M) members resort to violence due to their fear of losing in the upcoming elections. According to him, the LDF candidate in Kannur is aware of those involved in the bomb-making incident in Panoor.
Krishna Das urged the State Election Commission to recognize the potential for violence in Kerala during the elections and intervene in the issue. He added that the LDF and UDF are forming hidden alliances. He added that in Thrissur where UDF is covertly diverting votes to LDF.
Furthermore, Krishna Das expressed confidence that the BJP’s NDA is poised to win several Lok Sabha seats in Kerala. He asserted that the election result declarations will demonstrate the nation’s support for BJP’s developmental policies. Krishna Das said that the CPI(M) might secure only two or three seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
