Prime Minister to reach Kerala today for election campaign programs

Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Kerala today at 8pm for election campaign at Kunnumkulam and Kattakkada. He will land at Nedumbassery airport and will travel to Cochin Naval base by helicopter.

The Prime Minister will rest at Ernakulam guest house tonight and will proceed to Alathur constituency in the morning. He will participate in the election campaign of Alathur NDA candidate Dr. TN Sarasu at Kunnamkulam. After a road show at Kunnamkulam, PM Modi will address a public rally there.

From Kunnamkulam, Narendra Modi will travel to Kattakkada in Attingal constituency to campaign for NDA candidate V Muraleedharan. He will attend a public gathering at the Kattakkada Christian College ground. He will then head back to Kochi and will leave for Delhi in the evening.

Following the visit of the Prime Minister, security has been beefed up in Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Thiruvananthapuram districts. The SPG have taken control of the area through which the PM is travelling and also the buildings that he is staying.

Strict travel restrictions have been imposed in Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur districts. There will be travel restriction from 9pm onwards till 11 pm today. Tomorrow (15th April) the travel restriction will be from 9 am till 11 am.
