Malappuram: Arduous efforts to recover the bodies from the debris of the landslide has started from 7 in the morning. 46 bodies have been retrieved so far, 13 people are still believed to be under the rubble.
As today is the eleventh day of the disaster, the process of search operation becomes more and more tough. Though sophisticated facilities such as GPR was tried last day,it was in vein because of the presence of water content in the debris, said GPR expert Anand Panday.
Meantime, enquiry for the bodies laid under the debris in Puthumala is still on. DNA test will be conducted to identify the body recovered last day from Puthumala. The body was found near Soochoppara waterfalls.
