Kochi: In a severe blow to the communist government of Kerala, the High Court has ordered a thorough probe into all the recent appointments made by the Public Service Commission (PSC) after malpractice was found out in the examination conducted by PSC.
The order from the High Court comes as it was examining the plea against malpractice in the exam conducted by the PSC.
The High Court said that to resume the faith of the people in the PSC, a detailed investigation into each appointment by the commission must be examined. In addition, an independent agency is to lead the probe into the exam fraud.
High Court also said that unworthy candidates must be stopped from gaining government jobs through malpractice in the PSC exam.
The court ordered that all the accused in the case must surrender within 10 days and while squashing the anticipatory bail plea of the fourth accused, Safeer, in the case.
