Kochi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the new stretch of metro service between Maharaja’s College and Thykkoodam this morning. The new extension of service has 5.65 km length and five stations-Ernakulam South, Kadavanthra, Elamkulam, Vyttila and Thykkoodam.
The inauguration was held at Kadavanthra Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The function was presided over by the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Hardeep Singh Puri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Hardeep Singh Puri and Hybi Eden travelled in metro from Maharaja’s Junction to Kadavanthra.
