Pathanamthitta: In a bizarre case, the computers of the general hospital in Pathanamthitta district were hacked and the information of patients and doctors stolen. Interestingly, the hacking was done from computer with IP address based in Pakistan.
The demand of the hackers was that they need an amount of Bitcoins in return for the information stolen from the computers of the general hospital.
Report says that the hacking took place between the morning on 1 September and afternoon on 2 September. The cyber wing of the Kerala police have begun investigations in to the matter.
