The victims include her former husband, Roy and his parents. Roy’s mother’s brother and his unlce’s daughter-in-law and her two year old daughter.

The murders have shocked the consciousness of the  Kerala society which boast of education and high living standards. There are also allegations that local leaders of political parties like CPI(M) and Muslim League are involved in the land dealings of Jolly. Reports are coming that CPI(M) has thrown out one of its local leaders involved in the case.
