Thiruvananthapuram: Five assembly constituencies in Kerala are all set to go for voting with heavy spirit- Vatiyoorkavu, Aroor, Konni, Ernakulam and Manjeswaram.
Apart from Manjeswaram, other four Kerala seats fell vacant after the sitting MLAs were elected to the Lok Sabha.
This election would be a political challenge for both UDF and LDF as it would be fighting to save its turf from the saffron combine which is fast making inroads into the state.
Polling will be held from 7 am to 6.30 pm today.
